DIY-Cute Summer Cover Ups

This summer my sister and I decided to make some's really fun! Luckily our mom has a sewing machine and surger that we could use.  My two outfits were made from a pattern that you can buy at any sewing store; Chrissie's was made from one of my dad's old polo shirts.

This jumper was redesigned from an old pattern my mom had from the 60's.  It's way better to make a jumper than buy one, because you can make it fit perfectly!

This beach coverup was super easy to make because we just cut up an old shirt, and put some elastic around the waist.

This dress came from a Butterick pattern.  The eyelet fabric is really pretty, but I had to put some lining in.
