Shoes!

These two pairs of shoes were also Black Friday finds, of which I'm soooo jealous (they're Sarah's). The red zipper ones are from Forever 21, and the purple ones are BCBG from Loehmans. As you can probably tell, we prefer to buy a lot of stuff that is pretty cheap, rather than a few basic, expensive items. Getting dressed is just more fun that way, for me at least, because with the money spent on one pair of basic black designer boots, you could run around in dozens of colorful, capricious, and inexpensive shoes!

EYES

To be honest, few people would ever actually do this for a normal day to day look, but it gives you the freedom to use color, and would look fabulous with a black ballgown.
Note:  Do this look in aqua blue and you will look like your crazy Italian grandmother.

Cat-eye liner! This is pretty exaggerated, but it can have a sweet old-school effect if done right. I think it's cute with softer hair and makeup, so it doesn't get too rockeresque, which makes me think of Amy Winehouse, which in turn makes me think of cocaine. They have these excellent eye-liner pens at drugstores, which are basically sharpies for the eye, and make it super easy to do perfect cat-eyes!

Wow, is pretty much all i'm going to say. That is amazing.

This is a completely bare eye, but she looks polished, because of the defined, but not creepily dark, eyebrows. Having perfectly chubby, rosy, lips never hurts!

As you can probably tell, i'm a fan of heavy upper eyes...I always want to try fake lashes, but the one time I did was before a night of excessive dancing...not a good idea. They came out in sweaty clumps :( But don't be discouraged! They make actual high quality (and sometimes glittery or feathery) fake lashes that make you look dramatic and fabulous as long as you don't...dance.

I don't know why, but I really really like this look. Usually makeup artists rave about lining the inner corners with white, or at least dabbing shimmer there, but using black really draws you in, and isn't as obvious as you would expect!

Rachel Weisz

I love Rachel Weisz in The Mummy! She looks great and kicks ass and is pretty much my idol.  To get her perfectly sculpted eyebrows, use Tarte's eyebrow toolbox; it comes with brow gel, pencil, tweezers, brush, powder, wax and stencils.  Next do your eyes with Stila's sweet convertible eye color (Onyx) that has eyeliner, eye shadow, and a smudger sponge tip all in one pencil sized tool.  I have three of them in different colors, and I love how easy they are to use!  I also covet her lip color, which I'm pretty sure we can recreate with the NARS lip gloss (Giza).  As you can tell, we love Kerastase, so finish your look with their Creme Oleo-Curl definition cream that protects from humidity and thermal damage, and is put in towel dried hair before styling.  After all, "no harm ever came from" looking great!

MILLA JOVOVICH-Dazed and Confused-michelle burroughs
(clockwise)
1-max factor pancake-although you would never want you face to look like said breakfast food, this was quite a hit back in the day, and if you already have beautiful smooth skin like Milla, why not go retro?
2-victoria's secret lip stain pen in quickie-this color is somehow natural and bold at the same time, and since it is a stain, it will stay put on your lips in the event of some...umm...smoking ;)
3-kerastase verni nutri-sculpt-the best product out there for facilitating silky, shiny locks like hers.
4-urban decay 24/7 glide-on eye pencil-these vibrant shades scream the 70's, but in a good way!

Inspirations-Chrissie

Here is the beginning of what will become an even bigger montage of photos, not necessarily pertaining to anything, that lends inspiration to me, and hopefully to you as well!

Chrissie's Thanksgiving Makeup

Start with a fresh face

First, use brown liquid eyeliner
to line the top of your eyelashes and sweep golden shadow from the inner corner of the eye toward the outer.  Be sure to avoid filling in the whole eyelid.

Next, take a white or pearly powder and sweep it on the outer edge of the eyelid and under the outer edge of the eye.  This brightens one's eye and makes it look bigger!

Last, reapply the brown liquid eyeliner on the top, and smudge purple eyeliner on the bottom.  Coat just the top with mascara and it'll look like this!
